The Playwrights Circle is a friendly and supportive circle in which playwrights can share their work and work-in-progress, run by The Bread & Roses Theatre on the last Monday every month.
The Bread & Roses Theatre Company has been developing and supporting new writers since 2012; and since the launch of the theatre in November 2014 the venue has also established itself as a popular place for quality new writing, amongst both playwrights as well as audiences.
The Playwrights Circle is an opportunity to share up to 10 minutes of a new play, this can be a short play in its entirety or an extract from a longer piece. The focus lies on the circle sharing their work and providing supportive and constructive feedback for one another.
