In Conversation with Anne Edyvean, Head of BBC Writersroom – free event

The third University Women in the Arts public event will be an ‘In Conversation’ session with our very own Anne Edyvean – Head of BBC Writersroom!

It takes place in London at 6pm on Weds, 9th November. Venue details are currently TBC and tickets are free but limited, so if you want in, reserve your place now!

The event is particularly targeted at female students studying arts subjects at universities across the UK but is open to anyone who would like access to the sessions.

Jennifer Tuckett, Director of University Women in the Arts, said: ‘We are looking forward our University Women in the Arts event with Anne Edyvean… [We hope the session will] provide a useful and free opportunity for women to learn about Anne’s career, the challenges and blessings she has faced and how she has overcome and embraced them, and receive advice on working in the arts. I think one of the problems for women in the arts has been a lack of access to advice and roles models for how to manage their careers – we hope this year long scheme will provide the opportunity to get advice from 15 women leading the way in the arts in the UK and discover what they have learnt over the course of their careers.’

You can apply for tickets now or find out more about University Women in the Arts by visiting the initiative’s official website.
