About the course:

A practical course on developing the craft of playwriting, led by Jemma Kennedy.

This course is designed for writers with some previous experience who are working on a draft of a play. Through structured feedback, and working in a small group, each student is invited to bring in material to be discussed in a dedicated 75-minute feedback session. Using completed scenes or plot outlines, participants can focus on what will be most useful to them. Sessions will also include writing exercises designed to help participants solve problems with their scripts.

In the final session, the group will be joined by a guest speaker playwright Suhayla El-Bushra (The Suicide).

Led by Jemma Kennedy
