We are seeking scripts for a script in hand performance. These performances take place on the last Monday of every month at the King’s Arms, Manchester. We’ve had two very successful nights and so we’re advertising more widely to ensure we maintain a high standard. A bonus is that whether your script is accepted or not, we endeavour to provide feedback from three different people (a variety of writers/actors/directors). The idea of the night is to help writers to develop their scripts so we have a chaired discussion after each performance to gain feedback on each script.
Scripts should be:
- – anonymised
- – either short plays, full length plays or extracts of plays
- – formatted appropriately e.g. http://downloads.bbc.co.uk/writersroom/scripts/stage.pdf
- – they can be a work-in-progress
- – contain a summary of approximate performance length and casting requirements (e.g. 2 females in there 50’s)
