After last year’s tales of a family with a streak of cannibalism, the uncharitable charity and a butterfly with a very dark streak along with some wonderful monologues from their Brief Glimpse young writers and directors – less is MORE is ecstatic to be once again facilitating new writing as part of their ongoing commitment to Middlesbrough Theatre, Teesside and the North East. They are currently looking for new plays for their next event.
How to apply: Submit a copy of a draft of an unpublished, unperformed dramatic piece. Initially this needs to be one act only and requires minimal set with no other large technical requirements. The text should include a cast list, essential production notes plus a resume/ scenario of the whole piece. Submit a brief biography of your experience and career to date. The play should contain a maximum of 4 characters or more that will only require a cast of 4.
