Etch seeking submissions for Scratch Night #6 at the Peckham Pelican

Submissions are open for Etch Scratch Night #6.

What to submit: They are looking for 5-15 mins of new writing that is considered by the writer to be still in development.

How it works: They match writers with professional directors and help with casting. Each piece will then be rehearsed to performance standard and will be preformed on May the 11th at The Peckham Pelican. These events consistently attract audiences of over 150. Past Etch scratch night audiences have included creative staff from The RSC, The Royal Court and The Young Vic. Past Etch scratch night creatives have inlcuded talent such as actor Mike Noble, director Debbie Hanna and award winning playwrights Oliver Emanuel and Stef Smith.

Squint Theatre Company Artistic director Andrew Whyment calls Etch “a furnace for new writing”

While Off West End nominated Stuart Slade says “Etch is pretty much the most inspiring, dynamic and relevant theatre project in London today”
