EGM Productions Theatre Company is looking for writers for a New Audio Drama Podcast, titled ‘They’re Only Stories…’
‘They’re Only Stories’ is an audio drama podcast that celebrates spooky stories, the locations that inspire and the writers who create these stories. Each episode will be an original audio drama written by a different writer and performed and designed in studio by professional actors and audio engineers. Released on all free streaming services in October 2020.
For this callout, they’re looking for audio scripts that are inspired by the haunted Loftus Hall in Ireland.
Scripts must be between 7 – 12 pages, 1 – 3 characters, and they must be original and not tied to any other organisation.
It must be a full story within the script and it must be in some way linked to Loftus Hall.
EGM Productions are NOT looking for re-telling of already existing legends and stories.
They are only accepting audio scripts, so please do not send short stories or extracts from stage plays.
They are investigating sources of funding but at present no one involved will be paid. If bids for funding are successful they guarantee that all writers will receive equal payment. Your work, if selected, will be produced and released to a professional standard.
