The Watermill Theatre are looking for a writer to adapt Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night for The Watermill Ensemble to create an abridged version for a cast of three.
Their acclaimed A Mini Summer Night’s Dream in 2019 saw A Midsummer Night’s Dream performed by only three actors tour to secondary schools in the region with a run at The Watermill. They are now looking for a playwright to create an ambitious take on Twelfth Night and deliver a fast paced, lively 75-minute script with an emphasis on storytelling.
The piece will be directed by their Creative Associate Robert Kirby. Fee is £1,575. First draft by late April.
