Lita Doolan has a call out for writers inspired by the theme Shop Local – to remember all the small independent stores with their own ecosystem of community that will not be opening in 2020. She is looking for reflections that are personal, heartfelt or politically charged or humorous to create an arc from submissions selected. If possible list the name of the shop or brand that inspires your piece.
Poetry and short monologue/Prose (300 words max) will be read out on ‘Start Your Art’ iTunes Podcast in the new year.
There is no fee for selected pieces but please supply a one sentence bio that promotes your work. Copyright of your written material of course remains with you the writer. By sending your work you agree to it being read in one episode of this not for profit podcast that is also broadcast across a wide selection of platforms.
