Squint Writers Group with Lee Anderson (6 week course, now booking)

Squint has teamed up with The Mono Box for round two of the Squint Writers’ Group.

Facilitated by Squint’s Literary Associate, Lee Anderson, and guest writers who have previously collaborated with Squint, the group empowers first-time and early-career writers to take risks, experiment with form and create fresh original work.

How it works: each three-hour workshop in this six-week program will engage playwrights of any age and experience with a distinctive element of Squint’s practice. This will range from writing for chorus and working from verbatim material, to experimenting with form and rapid response writing.

Participants will acquire a practical insight into the way Squint make provocative work centred around the most topical issues affecting the world today. By the end of the program, each participant will have assembled a collection of original work, as well as a range of research and exercise tools that they can take forward in their future development as writers and makers.

You will receive a little bit of prep before Week 1 via email.
