Sharp Scratches seeking new writing for performance at Theatre N16 from writers that represent the LGBTQ+ community

Sharp Scratches is an evening of new writing at Theatre N16 in Tottenham, North London.

Each night of new writing has a theme and edition. For their November 6th night they are looking for stories and writers that represent the LGBTQ+ community. Whether it’s your first script or your 100th they want to hear from you.

What they are looking for:

  • Pieces of theatre or extracts no longer than 15 minutes in duration. If you are submitting an entire longer script you need to specify the extract you want to submit for performance as they do not have the readers to read entire full-length scripts.
  • Maximum 4 characters unless actors playing multiple roles is possible. If so please specify in your email.

How to apply: scripts should be emailed to sharpscratches@gmail.com with the title of your play in the subject. You must also include a short synopsis, including cast list and a little bit about yourself as a writer. Submissions without this information in the body of the email will be disregarded.

A group of readers will shortlist the 6 chosen pieces and they will be then be cast and directed for performance. Writers are welcome to attend rehearsals.

Deadline: 18 October 2018
