Global Black Voices at the Arcola open for submissions

Global Voices Theatre is a new platform for international theatre, presenting rehearsed readings of unheard stories from often under represented playwrights.

After three very successful editions of Global Queer and Global Female Voices  and following audience and creatives’ feedback, they are organising a Global Black Voices on 28th October 2018 at Arcola Theatre.

Global Black Voices will showcase 5 plays by Black playwrights based outside the UK, specially focusing on those writers whose first language is not English. They are looking for plays from contexts beyond the Western world; exploring issues and settings that audiences might not otherwise see in London theatres.

Plays can be any length, from any period, and with any number of characters and must be in, or translated into, English.

How to apply: To submit a play please go to the online submission form(google doc requires a login)
