W I L D C A R D presents: A Workshop With Luke Barnes

Ever had an idea for a script but no idea where to start? Or maybe you’re an actor who wants to try their hand at writing? Or maybe you’ve almost finished that first draft but can’t figure out how to end it? Or maybe it’s none of the above and you’re just interested in honing your craft or discovering a new passion!

Wildcard is proud to present a workshop with one of the UK’s most exciting voices in new writing, Luke Barnes.

What to expect?

‘This is a workshop to help you move from idea, to treatment, to script whilst focusing and refining the intention of your piece that exists in your form without getting disheartened and lost on the way. There will also be an opportunity to generally talk about writing.’

‘Barnes is fast proving himself to be one of our finest young writers’ The Stage.

‘Seldom does theatre possess the raw emotional power to reduce an entire room of strangers to stunned silence’ METRO

‘Luke Barnes captures the voice of Britain’s youth with wit and compassion’ The Independent
