International Theatre Institute/ Morecambe Fringe accepting 10 minute plays on theme of ‘Brexit?’

The UK Centre of the International Theatre Institute (UNESCO), based in Morecambe, is launching with a new 10-Minute Play Competition. The theme is “Brexit?”

Your play has to be a NEW play. It should contain from 1 to 4 characters.

The competition is open to anyone who has ever thought of writing a play. Your play should last no more than 10 minutes and there are two categories – Local (Morecambe & Heysham) and National.

Prizes: 
One winner for each category, and each will receive £150.
The six finalist plays will all be performed in stage readings at the Alhambra Theatre during a special evening of events to celebrate World Theatre Day on Tuesday March 27.
