The ‘Bloom: Emerging Talent Showcase’ will launch in April, providing an opportunity for new and emerging playwrights to have their work produced and performed on a London stage.
Chosen by Bloom Productions and a panel of collaborators, the best 5 plays will be produced by the Bloom Team, and will be judged on:
- Originality
- Plot
- Storytelling
- Writing technique
- Enjoyment
You don’t need any previous writing experience. You can enter on your own or as a group, but you can only enter once.
What to submit: They are looking for 15-minute (maximum) fictional stage plays to be performed in April this year at a London theatre.
They are keen to receive submissions from BAME and female writers, which also include a good balance of BAME and female characters. They are looking for exciting, innovative and envelope pushing work.
